I can't find my baud rate or BR setting on my cutter

You can test which baud rate your cutting plotter uses by following these steps. The setting can be found in SignCut in the cutter dialogue (click settings then select cutter) This setting in SignCut needs to match the value in the cutting plotters settings in order for the communication and cutting to work properly. (It also needs to be set to the same value in the device manager on your computer)

- Start SignCut and connect and power on your cutting plotter.

- Open a file for test cutting in SignCut or click on one of the colored squares on the right side of the screen to test a layer of our logo.

- Set the baud to 9600 in the cutter setup window (make sure the correct port is also selected) and click the scissor icon on the left side of the screen and then cut out.

If the cutting plotter doesn't start cutting do the following.

- Restart your cutting plotter and SignCut if needed.

- Change the Baud in SignCut to 19200 and again try cutting the test file or layer of our logo.

If still no luck, repeat the last procedure and change baud to 38400 and next time try 56700.

One of these values should work if the correct communication driver for the cutter is installed, and the correct manufacturer, cutter model, and output device/port is selected.
