If the configuration for SignCut Pro 1 has become corrupted or damaged, you may need to reset the application. This process clears the application data and performs a hard reset of SignCut.
Important: Resetting will erase your cutter settings and license number. Before proceeding, we recommend:
- Open SignCut and go to Settings > Cutter. Write down your selected Manufacturer, Cutter, Output Device, and Baud rate.
- Then go to Help > About SignCut and write down your license number.
Steps to Reset SignCut Pro 1 on Mac
- Close SignCut.
- Open Finder.
- In the Go menu, select Go to Folder.
- Enter
~/Libraryand click Go. - Open the Application Support folder.
- Locate and delete all SignCut folders.
- In Finder, go again to the Go menu and select Home.
- Look for a file called SignCut.ipc and delete it (if you don’t find it, continue to the next step).
- Restart SignCut. Enter your license number and cutter settings.
- Close SignCut, then restart it to ensure that the entered information is saved properly
