This could be caused by a few things such as memory buffer or static.

The cutter has a built in memory which stores the data before cutting it out after receiving it from SignCut. Sometimes when the machine clears the memory because it's full it looses the connection and does a random cut and then it gets the new data and it goes back to cutting as normal again.

There is one thing you can try in SignCut and that is to click Settings, then select Cutter and then choose Advanced Settings tab and make sure RTS/CTS are both checked and DTR/DSR are unchecked.

Should the issue persists, you may also uncheck the weeding frame by clicking Scissor button on the left panel, there you will see the weeding frame option under Cutting tab.

Also check the option for Optimize Data Stream and Wait Until Finished Cutting it is being used, uncheck it. If it is not being used check that option then try cutting your file again.

- It could also be Comminication loss.

- If you have a desktop make sure the cutter is connected to the back of the compuer as those USB slots have a higher amperage.

- If you have a laptop then make sure the cutter is not connected to a USB 3.0 slot. Some cutters do not have support for that.

Tips: Anti static spray for clothing can also help reduce the static build up during cuts.
